The Waikato Show

Thanks to the Waikato Show for having us play in the weekend at the

Hamilton City Event Centre.

 

 

It was pretty eventful - the double bass lost a few bits during the first show! 

 

 

No photos unfortunately.  Lucky for us, Keith MacMillan at the Stringed Instrument Shop in Frankton did a marvellous emergency fix on the beautiful instrument to get it ready for the Sunday concert!

Garden Concert

So we had rather a fun concert at the recent market day at the CCS Royal Oak Community Garden...

Here's Rob ready to leave for the concert.

On the way into the garden...

Such a lovely place...

It's looked after by lots of lovely volunteers...

The market was in full swing...

You could even play a bit of golf...

In the glass house!

Time to open the guitar cases, lay out some CDs....

Put on our gumboots...

and play a few tunes.

We had a wonderful day and the audience were grand!!

Does the Bus stop here?

We have lovely green buses in Hamilton. 

Sometimes, we like to take the bus into town.

Here we are waiting for the bus....

Not for long though..here it is!

We go across the Waikato river..

When we reach the town we wave the bus goodbye!

Paul and Rob sang our Bus song outside our house one day, when a big bus was parking next door!

It's official.
We love the library.

This is our local library.....and also the one that inspired Rob to write his 'Library' song...

We head there every week.....

We race on in...

 With our blue banana book bag.......

Hooray, look at all the books...

We choose some books.........

 

 

 



We read some books....

We take the books to the librarian....

And then we go home to read all our books!
